Faster Wi-Fi and Internet coming at Chula Vista libraries

Work stepping up the computer services at two branch libraries in Chula Vista will close down the branches during March and April. New lines will replace old Wi-Fi and Internet conections throughout the libraries.

The re-wiring and re-cabling work starts on Monday, March 10th at the Civic Center Branch, on F Street, and, on Friday, April 18th at the South Chula Vista Branch, on Orange Avenue. The F Street branch stays closed until MOnday morning, March 17th. Doors reopen at the Orange Avenue branch the Monday on April 28th.

During the days line workers make service faster and more reliable, library staff at the two branches will work at other library locations.

Chula Vistans, and visiting patrons, can use the compters at the Otay Ranch Branch Library. And, check out books at the branch in Otay Ranch Town Center.
