The 6th sequel to the movie franchise “The Fast and the Furious” premiered a teaser trailer during the Super Bowl game on Feb. 3, 2013. Universal Pictures paid an estimated $4 million for the 30 second spot. Two days later on Wednesday Feb. 5th. The studio released an extended three minute trailer which spread quickly on the Internet. Fans of the franchise have been salivating over the action packed scenes. The movie opens in U.S. theaters on May 24, 2013. According to the official website of ‘Box Office Mojo’ which tracks movie grosses. The last movie sequel called, “Fast 5” grabbed a U.S. domestic total of $209,837,675 & a foreign market total of $416,300,000. The producers cast professional wrestler ‘The Rock’ (Dwayne Johnson) in “Fast 5” as a man who tracks down ‘Dom’ (Vin Diesel). Both men return & it looks to be another box office bonanza for Universal with the 6th sequel.
