Fast-food stoner misplaces joint in customer's burger

Wendy's fixes burgers "your way," so they say. Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce - you get the idea. Fast foods like a Wendy’s burger and fries served with an up-sized soft drink have long been favored munchies for pot smokers after a night of tokin’ up, I am told. However, a burger recently served with half-a-joint inside of it got its server arrested.
While Wendy’s burgers are somewhat square in shape, at least one of that chain’s employees is not. Amy Seiber, a former Wendy’s employee based in Lovejoy, Ga., was arrested last month after a customer reported finding a half-smoked stogie inside her burger, according to a TMZ report.
Police who answered a 911 call from a female customer say Seiber, 32, confessed the blunt belonged to her and that she had "misplaced" it inside the cheeseburger. Police arrested her, not the customer, for possession of marijuana.
The stunned but apparently not stoned customer who received the misplaced joint in her sandwich told TMZ she suffered symptoms akin to food poisoning and had to be hospitalized. The victim did not disclose whether or not this was the first time she had ingested marijuana, however food poisoning-type afflictions are not generally associated with eating pot-laced food products, so I am told.
The victim also said that Wendy's offered to pay for her medical bills and gave her a $50 gift certificate. It is not clear from which location the victim planned to redeem her $50 certificate, however it certain that Seiber won’t be preparing her burger since she was fired immediately after the incident occurred.
To the horror of, well, everyone I can imagine, November’s pot-laced burger incident ranks far down the list of gross fast-food servers' behavior.
Just last summer, a Subway "sandwich artist" admitted to HuffPost Weird that he placed his penis on the store's foot-long sausage sandwich bread then posted photos of the demented arrangement to Instagram.
For those still able to enjoy lunch at a fast food joint, in July of this year the owner of a San Diego pizzeria was allegedly caught on video masturbating in the restaurant's kitchen.
