A fashionista suicide has occurred in New York City. On Feb. 7, The Inquisitr reported that Ashley Riggitano jumped off of the George Washington Bridge to her death. The 22-year-old New Jersey native left a suicide note in a Louis Vuitton bag on a walkway on the bridge before climbing a ways up the bridge and jumping in to the Hudson River below.
Inside the Louis bag was a notebook that explained Riggitano's choice. According to The Inquisitr, the "suicide diary" had pages of handwritten notes that detailed the torment Riggitano felt she had endured because of five other young women. She says that she was bullied by these women.
This fashionista committed suicide for other reasons as well. In her notes, she mentioned a man who treated her poorly. She said that the man was welcome to attend her funeral but that she hoped he "got what he deserved" when he arrived. The five women who "bullied" Riggitano, however, are not welcome at her funeral according to the note.
Klonopin and Adderall were also found in Ashley's Louis bag. A toxicology report will uncover if those drugs -- or any other drugs -- were in her system when she died. According to reports, this isn't the first time that Riggitano tried to kill herself.
Before her suicide, the fashionista worked in New York as an intern for fashion and jewelry designer Alex Woo.
