Fashion With A Passion is once again helping to raise funds for Make-A-Wish® San Diego for the fourth year. Fashion With A Passion is an annual charity event for fashionable women to come together and enjoy sumptuous cuisine and wine tasting, spa, beauty and fashion finds, as well as a designer fashion show presented by the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Proceeds from ticket sales as well as from amazing auctions and raffles benefit Make-A-Wish® San Diego.
“This year has been extra exciting for the committee members and volunteers of our fashion event. We enthusiastically decided to grant a specific young lady’s wish this year. As part of our campaign, we put together an exclusive kick-off event at the San Diego Make-A-Wish office in December and are continuing our efforts to complete funding her wish this spring. The annual event, Fashion With A Passion, takes place on Saturday, April 6th, at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and is expected to sell out its 300 tickets quickly. The ladies of San Diego are encouraged to jump on fashionwithapassion.org to buy tickets quickly.
Last year’s event raised $20,000 and the Committee Chair, Carolyn Morris, expects 2013’s event to exceed last year’s total.
