Fashion winners: Best dressed of 2012 Grammy Awards

The show must go on, and that's exactly what it did. Last night, the 2012 Grammy awards were held at the Los Angeles Staples Center, amidst grieving the death of legendary Grammy winner, songbird Whitney Houston. Many celebrities came out for music's biggest night of the year, and lots of them brought their fashion A game.

Metallics and neutral colors, such as white, tan, nude, and blush, dominated the red carpet. Fashion darling Kelly Osbourne played up her curves in a beautiful, metallic one-shouldered Tony Ward gown. The dress was draped in a Grecian style and accentuated her waist, giving her a great silhouette. American Idol favorite Carrie Underwood was stunning as she graced the red carpet with an "Old Hollywood Glamour meets sophisticated yet sassy" vibe. Her floor length white gown sparkled with crystal embellishment, and the back cutout gave the dress a sophisticated sexiness. Singer Kelly Rowland showed the world that she can compete with the best of the red carpet by donning a beautiful cream Alberta Ferretti  gown with a floral embellishment. Actress Kate Beckinsale opted for a champagne and black asymmetrical mini dress, pairing it with sky high black heels to showcase her legs.  Singer Ledisi looked amazing in her floor length gown that hugged her signature curves. Singer Taylor Swift stunned in a regal way, donning a beautiful gold embellished Zuhair Murad mermaid gown.

Many celebrities chose to wow the red carpet in classic black. Rihanna oozed sexiness, as she walked the red carpet in a black Giorgio Armani gown with an up-to-there slit, and a deep plunge neckline, leaving almost nothing to the imagination.  Another American Idol favorite, Mandisa, chose to make a statement by wearing a black crystal embellished body con dress, proving that plus size women can make fashion statements on red carpets as well. Flo Rida's guest chose a  black bodycon mini dress with lace cutouts, while Grammy favorite Adele went completely opposite, opting for her signature, more conservative looks. Her wardrobe choices throughout the night left her beauty, grace, and angelic voice as her main accessory. Singer Corinne Bailey Rae showcased her signature old hollywood glamour red carpet look with a beautiful black dress by Christian Siriano. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow also stunned in a beautiful black Stella McCartney column dress.
