Fashion Week 2013 (Photos)

Catwalking models down the runways and new collections being debuted is what makes Fashion Week so exciting. This week, February 7th-14th, Fall 2013's hottest looks will hit the scene. Fashion week was kicked off by the Heart Truth's annual Red Collection Fashion show. The show, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, Diet Coke and Web MD, helps to raise awareness for heart disease. Stars ripped the runway wearing vibrant red dresses created by a variety of designers. Red is also being designated as fall 2013's "pop of color."

Fashion Week also begins with runway looks on the more conservative style followed by and even mixed with grunge, like designer Richard Chai's collection for men and women. Mr. Chai focused on a younger demographic this season and mixed with it, his characteristic dark jacquards, classic grays and charcoal, plaid and sequins.

The return of the grunge is part of the rock 'n' roll theme and will showcase the more edgier looks in more than 90 designer collections this season. Embodied in the 1990s and rooted in the 1970's punk style, this look is making a comeback with a twist of modern day style.

Colors to look forward to wearing are: browns, camels, orange, purple, plum and magenta.
