This week, the remaining designers are challenged to work in cohesive design duos. Not all of the designers meet this challenge with happiness. After learning about the challenge, Daniel reports that he is filled with an undercurrent of hatred about the designer with whom he is paired. In his mind, Johana's lack of communication last week set Team Nicole up for elimination. In the end, although they started out hating each other, they end up working very well together and they create pieces that the buyers fight over. Hunter, JesseRay and Garrett work as a threesome, while John's team will have to choose how to split into two teams. Because Cassandra has designed menswear, she offers to work with Brandon on a men’s suit and Amber and Silvia eventually decide on a shirt and pant combination. To make it even more challenging, only the team with the highest sales total will be safe from elimination. Surprisingly Brandon, the Chicago connection, is eliminated even though his design sold.
