People gather around a spotless white runway illuminated by the light shining through the tall glass ceiling of Atrium B at DCOTA Design Center of The Americas. Backstage, Fashion Designers take care of last minute touch ups and prepare their models for the catwalk. Music fills the atmosphere of style and design, innate to the largest design campus of its kind, with rhythm and chicness. And suddenly, Anne M. Owen, group publisher of MIAMI Magazine, welcomes the crowd for an entertaining and stylish show.
Nine Fashion Designers came together this Thursday January 31st for DCOTAS’ Winter Market (Day Two), to bring the public “Couture Décor.” A fashion show of gorgeous pieces made with the products of participant showrooms. Fashion Designers Daniella Ivana Sredi (Aquarius), Noelle Vazzano, Tatiana Robles (Laetitia), Yoly Munoz (Yoly Munoz Couture), Alfredo Brito, Karelle Levy (Krel Wear), Dalya Vidal, Carolina Benoit, and Ashley Liemer (Noble Experiment) worked with a variety of fabrics righteously pulled off amazingly beautiful designs that not only showed the quality and versatility of its textiles, but the creativity and talent of their creators.
To add more fun, the models of the show were the participant showrooms’ Interior Designers themselves, which definitely wowed the multitude and made this show a total success.
The guests had a chance to bid on the items of this exciting mixture of interior and fashion design with the objective of sending all proceeds to charity for scholarships of Interior Design students.
Modern Luxury’s MIAMI Magazine also informed the launching of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida, the new authority on luxury interior design for this September 2013.
