Save the date! Thursday, September 6, 2012, 6-11pm marks the fourth annual Fashion's Night Out event, which started in New York City as a collaboration between Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Retailers from over 250 cities across the nation and 18 countries will host in-store celebrations and promotions, including product demonstrations, runway presentations, raffles, music entertainment and more. It's one big fashion party where shoppers can celebrate with editors, celebrities and designers.

Philadelphia's Mayor Michael Nutter said of the event, “It was designed to restore confidence in the creative economy and stimulate the growth of the retail industry in the midst of a great economic crisis."

The Greater Philadelphia area has three main locations for Fashion's Night Out:

1. Center City Philly
Participating retailers include Anthropologie, Macy’s and BCBG. The event will serve as a preview event to The Philadelphia Collection, a weeklong series beginning Thursday, September 13.

2. King of Prussia Mall

The night of fashion and fun will include a faux photo shoot event, prizes and culinary demonstrations. You could receive a free small cosmetic bag with purchase of select tote bags at Vera Bradley, enjoy cocktails and a DJ at bebe and more. Check back for more details. Local sponsors include TAG Heuer, Hamilton Watches,, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

3. Christiana Mall
