Baltimore Fashion Alliance will host Baltimore’s inaugural Fashion’s Night Out Event, this Thursday September 8, 2011 from 6:00 – 11:00pm at the Intercontinental Hotel. In tandem with the Fashion’s Night Out initiative begun in 2009 by Vogue’s Anna Wintour as a way to restore consumer faith in the retail fashion industry and boost sales, Baltimore Fashion Alliance will give Baltimore consumers the opportunity to participate in this global event. Attendees will peruse and shop merchandise from local boutiques, designers and manufacturers, while enjoying light fare and music by DJ Ken Rochon from the Good Fellas of Baltimore TV show.
Greenspring Station will kick off the night’s events with extended shopping hours until 7pm, and with a celebratory champagne toast. Fall fashions from Greenspring Station’s retailers will be featured in an informal modeling presentation later that evening at the Intercontinental Hotel event.
After two years of only being able to participate online, Baltimore consumers get to head out for this shopping extravaganza happening in cities across the country and the world. Participating retail stores in Maryland include select BCBG Max Azria, Forever 21, H&M, Nordstrom, Saks, Steve Madden, South Moon Under and White House Black Market stores; many featuring their own discounts, exhibitions and giveaways.
