Last night's episode of "Fashion Police" was back to business after last week's "Fashion Bowl." Nonetheless, for wise cracking, Joan never missed a beat in her painfully blunt comments that fans just adore and cringe at the same time.
The "Must See Looks of the Week" included Cate Blanchett in a gorgeous red gown that all agreed was perfect. Lady Gaga leaning on a gumball machine in a multi-colored print dress that made her look much older than her years. Next, Scott Disick out shopping in leather pants and white cotton sweater, Joan mentioned that he probably got his allowance, hence the shopping bag. Carrie Washington appeared in a beautiful pink bodice and green bottom from the NAACP Debutante Ball. Mixed comments came from love it to hate it, but the shoes did not go with the outfit. The number-one look of the week was Beyonce in her outfit at Super Bowl halftime show. Joan said that she had more moves than Jamie Lee Curtis when her poop yogurt kicks in. George stated that it was almost identical to Tina Turner's look in 1979 and pays homage to another great performer. The reunion of "Destiny's Child" was another wonderful addition, and they also looked outstanding.
The next segment was "Fashion Finder." They tracked down Kesha in Japan at an airport in black and gold velvet with a big floppy hat. George, Kelly and Giuliana liked the look, but Giuliana did point out that this was the third time she wore this outfit in public. Lindsay Lohan, was spotted in New York City in black leather with fur sleeves. Giuliana said she certainly needs a fashion intervention. In Paris, Kanye West was spotted in a white suit, black long coat over his shoulders and a red ski mask that brought the audience and panel to tears of laughter. Joan called him Osama Bin Assho__! She said, if is was spotted walking towards you, call 911.
Julianne Hough, from the hit movie "Safe Haven" and "Dancing with the Stars" joined the panel. Asked what her favorite and not so favorite red carpet looks were, she replied, that the favorite was the mermaid type gown from the Emmy Awards which was elegant. Her least favorite was an outfit from the MTV Movie Awards; her hair was straight and the bare midriff just did not gel. She mentioned a wardrobe malfunction at the Golden Globes. Wearing a gorgeous pink gown, she danced a bit too hard and the seam ripped on each thigh, so she ripped it all the way down; one problem, no underwear which made her movements a bit tethered the rest of the night.
The next segment called "Ladies of the Night" spotlighted the late-night talk show appearances by famous women and their attire. First up was Lucy Liu on the Jimmy Fallon Show. She wore a multi-colored splatter print dress that Joan said would look like if someone gave Stevie Wonder a paint gun. They agreed that it was so unlike her fashion sense. Then Zosia Mamet from Girls was on Jimmy Fallon wearing a red dress with peek-a-boo insert at the cleavage. Standing the dress was fine, but for an interview, the dress was inappropriate. Joan was waiting for a Muppet to jump out and tell kids how to count to two. However, overall, the voting went to Zosia.
George visited the set of the modeling competition show on OWN called, "The Face." He met with Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha that team with supermodel Naomi Campbell. The two models mentor future models and their choices are judged by Naomi, who is very forthright in her criticism.
"Starlet or Streetwalker" is always fun as they try to decide if the fashion faux pas belongs to a real star or a hooker, where Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus aced it for their outrageous outfits.
The final segment was the best and worst of the week. The best was Cate Blanchett. The worst of the week was Lindsay Lohan, voted the "Fash-Hole of the Week" on this episode of "Fashion Police."
