Gucci to Launch Makeup Line

Gucci is expanding its mega brand to include cosmetics. The Italian label has announced a new line of cosmetics set to hit the market this Fall. The line will feature face, skin, lip, eye and nail products. Gucci joins a long list of luxury labels who have recently launched makeup lines including Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors.

Longchamp Returns to Champ-Elysees

Longchamp will return to the place it once called home. The luxury French label is set to open a flagship location at the Champ-Elysees in Paris, just few steps away from its original spot. With the latest opening the brand hopes to attract more clientele, particularly tourists. In a statement released to AFP, CEO Jean Cassegrain noted, "tourists, especially Asian shoppers, [sic]who are very important customers for us."

Zara Now Open at Figat7th

The Zara flagship store at Figat7th officially opened its doors yesterday. The spacious location features a mens, women and children's section. The grand opening at Figat7th marks the eighth Zara store in LA. Zara joins a number of popular shops at Figat7th including H&M, MAC Cosmetics and L'Occitane. Linda Evangelista and Steven Meisel Join Moschino for Campaign

Moschino is adding two industry veterans to its fall lineup. Supermodel Linda Evangelsta and photographer Steven Meisel have been tapped to shoot for Moschino's fall ad campaign. "People always ask me who my favorite photographer is and that would be Cindy Sherman, but my favorite artist is Steven Meisel," Creative director Jeremy Scott said in a statement. No word yet on when the ads will made their debut.
