Fashion Revolution Day - April 24th

Fashion Revolution Day, a campaign designed to raise awareness on production chains and how clothes are made, is launching on Thursday April 24th. In an event tagged #INSIDEOUT, participants are encouraged to "wear clothes inside-out to help start the beginning of an industry-wide transformation towards a more sustainable future." Countdown to Alexander Wang + H&M

In a glaring caption posted to his instagram page this past week, Alexander Wang announced his first ever collaboration with H&M. H&M has since confirmed that Alexander Wang is its next guest designer for a capsule collection set to debut November 6th. In a statement released to H&M Wang stated, "“I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.”

Victoria Secret Fashion Show Heads to London

Victoria Secret is bidding adieu to New York City and heading across the pond to London this year. Victoria Secret made the announcement earlier this week at a press conference. Victoria Secret had been eying the British capital for some time and decided to take the leap this year. No word yet on the precise location or venue.

Marissa Webb Appointed Creative Director at Banana Republic

Designer Marissa Webb has been appointed the new creative director at Banana Republic. Formerly of J.Crew, Webb will begin her post on April 28th with her first collection with the chain debuting in 2015. Webb previously left J.Crew after 12 years to create her own line.
