Fashion for Haiti: American fashion industry lends a helping hand

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has created a campaign to provide aid to the victims of the devastating January 12 earthquake in Haiti. The CFDA Foundation is a not-for-profit trade association consisting of American fashion, accessories and jewelry designers who join together to direct “industry-wide initiatives.”

The CFDA Foundation’s nation-wide campaign is “Fashion for Haiti.” A T-shirt has been designed to provide support for the people of Haiti and their relief efforts. The T-shirt features a lime green and black block design, “To Haiti With Love.” Underneath that block design is the tagline, “Hope Help Heal Haiti.” The T-shirt comes in both women’s and men’s styles. The T-shirt has a reasonable price-point when considering the cause. It is $25, and the proceeds benefit the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund allows for immediate relief to those in the most need of assistance in Haiti.

The "Fashion for Haiti" T-shirt will be available on February 12 at retailers nation-wide and online at www.cfda.com.
