Introduction: According to my memory, Fashion Fair Cosmetics was one of the first cosmetics that I saw in my household. With me being the youngest, I always looked up to my mom and older sisters. I always thought that they were beautiful and when I grew up I would look like them and wear Fashion Fair cosmetics.

History:

Eunice W. Johnson was best known as the director of the Ebony Fashion Fair show which was started in 1958 as a hospital fundraiser and became an annual fashion tour that highlighted fashion for African-American women”.

“Mrs. Johnson started EBONY Fashion Fair cosmetics with a capsule collection sold through EBONY magazine in 1973. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Fashion Fair Cosmetics. Several innovative introductions will occur this year including the first Sam Fine Collection, four new 40th anniversary capsule collections and the opening of a new Herald Square Fashion Fair boutique location. Today, the cosmetics company offers foundation colors which complement an array of complexions and variety of beauty products.”
