Fashion has made it to the forefront of entertainment as three of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising alumnus put their creativity to work as they compete to sketch the best red carpet look and you can be a part of choosing the winning design.
The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and The Academy have given the stylish task to these three talented designers to come up with what they think the five "Best Actress" nominees and humorous host, Seth MacFarlane, should wear on the Red Carpet.
Beginning today, you can log on to Oscar.com and the Official Oscars App for the special six-part video series: "fashion FACE/OFF". Go behind the scene to see what goes into the vision, the creation of these opulent outfits.
Kevan Hall (Michelle Obama, Renee Zellweger, Debra Messing), Heathyr Lawrence (Avril Lavigne, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyssa Milano) and Dominique Pearl David (Disney, Kayne West, L.A.M.B.) join their host and FIDM alumni and Project Runway finalist Nick Verreos for a discussion on their vision, inspiration and ideas for the "Best Actress" nominees and The Oscar host, Seth MacFarlane.
