Anne Hathaway covers the February 2013, issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK and gets candid with the magazine about her “tumultuous romantic past and blissed-out present and describes how she prepped for a coming-of-age role.”
The actress, who was styled for the shoot by Bazaar’s new senior contributing editor Leith Clark, dazzles in stunning fashion by Alexander McQueen, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
Looking flawless in a strapless gown, the February cover girl compares herself to Rihanna and frets over her self-described, uninteresting, vanilla image.
According to a Daily Mail report on Jan. 2, the actress told the magazine, “I'm not Rihanna. I'm not cool. When people come up to me in the street, they often want a hug not a photo, and they want that because they like my work.”
“I was seen as this bizarre-world good-girl cartoon that I in no way identified with – very vanilla, very sweet, very accessible and not interesting,” she said. “I had no grit, no sex appeal.”
When it comes to her husband Adam Shulman, it was love at first sight for the actress. “I knew from the second I met him that he was the love of my life.”
