Emilio Sosa was a strong contender for the top honors in season seven of Project Runway on Lifetime TV. In the season finale, Emilio was the runner up to designer SethAaron Henderson. Mila Hermanovski took the third stop in the fashion design competition. The season finale of Project Runway aired on Lifetime TV on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
Project Runway is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum. Tim Gunn mentors the designers throughout the competition.
Emilio Sosa won the most competitions during the season, but was bested by SethAaron Henderson in the finale. Sosa's inspiration for his vibrant collection , titled Color Mr Bad, was his mom and aunts. this was so funny isaid who would win and he did his modles were all there and its funny how the other two modles were missing oo another thing i must bring up i ve watch this show all the time and i NOTICEthat tim treat the people of color rude put them down i a round about way will not help them like he does the others , this show aloud me to know that be hind the smile time is still the same if you know what i mean and i ask my self why do you have people of color on your show for looks rateing are what ! i will not watch it any more and belive me that others have notice a lot more than you think mat be its time to end it! rude sarcastic judges and rude i heard the remarks about poney taile you said to the winner and how you help the other with hair and make up funny me i though the things i heard said was not true untill last nite why
I am in much the same opinion as Oliva. I do believe Emilio should have won this season. How can one designer have so many wins during the season and present a wonderful runway show and not win the entire show. The purple dress that was presented by Seth Aaron was not even wearable and look like a costume. Emilio presented clothing that was very wearable by anyone and was creative. I have not seen any people of color win this show...whats wrong with this picture. Emilio was the best designer the entire season, and everyone knows this. Come on Heidi, get with the program.

I too feel that Emilio should have won the competion. I feel the judges had to find reasons for him not to win. They came up with only one excuse which was, "its was more of a line not a collection" I thought the idea was for the winner to put clothes worth selling on the website bluefly.com once they won. I thought that meant they were selling clothes worth wearing. I would love to wear Emilio Sosa's design. I was very impressed and agreed with the judges up until they made up an exscuse for him not to win. The jugdes at first seemed very impressed by Emilio's work and had nothing bad to say. I'm not sayin the winner wasn't good but my impression of the judges were that they were blown away by Emilio. I hate to say this but its true when you here the phrase "Lifes not fair" no matter what we do somebody will find someway to put us down. :( I am very Dissappointed!!
possibly its time for project runway to let the public vote on the winning designer - much like idol and other shows that seek a majority opinion instead of 3 or 4 "industry" snobs
