Getting ready for the fashion of 2013 is almost an impossible task without visiting the most hated fashions of 2012.This week several entrepreneurs were interviewed to find out what fashions they hated the most in 2012 and what fashion they would like to see in 2013.
Keith Grant is a fashion stylist and consultant of Image Is Everything and he stated felt the worst fashion trend was the leggings with boots. He states, "it all looked the same and was so predictable." To change up the 2013 fashions, Keith states that he prefers vintage knit looks to show curves in a classy but stylish way with pops of color. Bev Page of Tour and Travel Planners stated she hated seeing people in their cloth pajamas in public.
Chaunci Carr is a make-up artist of C. Lee Artistry. Chaunci hated the designer glasses that had the "big ugly thick rims" She also added that in the military those glasses were joked about as "birth control glasses". As a designer, Chaunci felt plus-size clothing were under styled and she would like to see more curved seams to show plus-size curves. She also wanted to see more blazer, vests and cardigans styled for plus-size women. Chaunci also stated she wanted to see more fashion in jewel tones for 2013.
Rosalind Bryant is CEO & Founder of Open Hearts, Helping Hands and she stated the fashions she hated the most were wild printed leggings. Rosalind states if she could change or implement fashion for 2013 it would be sassy, yet classy. Rosalind described her hope for fashion in 2013 as the 1950's meets Tom Ford. Being a shoe fanatic Rosalind states, " it's always best to spray satin shoes with weather protector before wear and also find a great shoe repairman-it's worth the investment."
Tiesha Starr of Urban Natural Boutique hated leggings and she is looking for more fashion geared to plus-size with style.
