Farrah Fawcett died at the way too young age of 62. She put up a great fight with a not very talked about cancer - anal cancer.

She lived a fabulous life and loved fiercely. Her relationship with Ryan was one of great passion and is the stuff of legends. It is interesting that both Suzanne Somers and Farrah sought out alternative treatments for their cancer. Farrah went to Germany which in the end did not help her. Suzanne fought breast cancer and won.
Farrah was not super thin. In fact some might say she had an hourglass body. Noting the number of sales of her famous red bathing suit poster a lot of men love the hourglass body which this Examiner believes is the healthy way to live. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for Farrah.
According to her second cousins "Farrah was always very health conscious. She played tennis and worked out.” This same article notes that Ms. Fawcett enjoyed playing golf and riding horses.
Farrah's tan must have been the bane of her doctors but nowhere have I seen any correlation to tanning and anal cancer.
