Sadly, numerous reports have indicated that the legendary actress Farrah Fawcett is near death as family and friends have begun to arrive at her bedside to say their last goodbyes. Fans old and new fell in love with Farrah last month when her documentary Farrah's Story aired on NBC, chronicling her battle with anal cancer. These grim reports are coming in just days before Farrah's long time companion Ryan O'Neal's interview with Barbara Walters for 20/20 is to be aired, Friday June 26th. Fans had been hopeful with the admission made by O'Neal that Farrah had recently agreed to marry him as soon as she was able, but with news that a priest has been summoned to Fawcett's bedside, things are not looking good for the beloved Charlie's Angels star.

Ryan O'neal (who did not marry Farrah before she passed) released the following statement: "After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away. Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."
