Fawcett best known for her famous swimsuit poster and her role on Charlie's Angels was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006. She documented her fight against the disease in the documentary “Farrah’s Story,” which was broadcast on NBC.
Alana Stewart, who was an intimate friend of Fawcett’s, helped produce “Farrah’s Story.”
Stewart:
“For 30 years, Farrah was much more than a friend, she was my sister, and although I will miss her terribly, I know in my hear that she will always be there as that angel on the shoulder of everyone who loved her.”
The network announced it will air the documentary again this Friday night.
