The news of Farrah Abraham's recent DUI arrest hit the web earlier this morning and came as a shock to many. Farrah is typically pretty sane and has never seemed to be a heavy drinker. According to reports, Farrah blew a 0.147 on the Breathalyzer which was nearly twice the legal limit in her home state of Nebraska. While she had previously been mum on the arrest, Farrah has finally released a statement via Twitter.
"It's Amazing what people believe & makeup (LOVE MY LIFE) #Thank #God #I'mSuccessful & I don't care about drama! #HaveAGreatDay," Farrah tweeted on the morning of March 20. So is Farrah denying the arrest happened or that her blood alcohol level was so high? It's unclear at the moment but the DUI arrest isn't just a rumor, it's public record.
Farrah may be embarrassed about what she has done, but her best bet is to just be honest about it. She can't really expect her fans to believe that it never happened. Sure, she'll probably only receive some sort of smack on the wrist since it is her first offense, but denying it is just going to end up with her fans being angry at her for lying to them.
Her statement about not caring and being successful is also a bit odd. Driving drunk puts lives in danger and for Farrah to say that she doesn't care seems to hint that she's not remorseful for what she's done.
