Farrah Abraham has a reputation for being hard to handle, but it turns out there may be some reasons for her brash behavior. The former “Teen Mom” has been hiding some dark secrets that could explain why she can come off as cold to people. She opened up about her dark secrets in a Feb. 5 report with InTouch.
“I was drugged and raped more than once. I allowed the [wrong] type of people into my life,” she explained,
It appears that most of this happened after the release of her adult film. After the release, she traveled the country to promote her film, frequenting strip clubs. She says these situations were “unsafe.”
Recently, Farrah Abraham lashed out about her video when she found out a baseball player had found it “appealing,” saying, “I hope he doesn't watch the sex tape.”
It is obvious she has a lot of animosity towards her tape and, if what she says is true, it is easy to see why she feels that way.
When appearing on “Teen Mom,” it was obvious that Farrah Abraham had a rough relationship with her parents. It seems that things with them weren’t good even before their MTV fame and Farrah made some shocking revelations about her childhood to InTouch.
“[They] would beat me with a belt if I acted out. I had cuts, bruises, welts, swelling and scars.”
Farrah Abraham lobbied hard to get on the VH1 show "Couples Therapy", even faking relationships to land a spot. It worked on her second try, but her “boyfriend” bailed, leaving her to attend therapy solo. However, that could actually be a good thing as Farrah has been able to focus, not so much on one relationship, but on all of her past relationships, including that with her parents.
Interestingly, her relationship with her father seems to be much better these days as she admitted to The Ashley that her dad lives with her!
“We are living in Austin, me and Sophia, and actually my dad lives in my guest house.”
Fans that enjoyed her on “Teen Mom” will be treated to a special titled “Being Farrah” sometime this year. It may be hard for some fans to see her back in that “Teen Mom” element, but it will be nice to see her back in a role that gained her the initial fan base.
Overcoming a rough past is hard, but not impossible. Hopefully Farrah Abraham is able to make decisions that will help her and Sophia have a better future.
