Farrah Abraham has a long resume which includes authoring a book and recording an album, but she will not be adding soap opera star to that list. According to an August 29 report, the former “Teen Mom” has not signed on to “Days of Our Lives.”
On Wednesday, Farrah Abraham’s April audition tapes popped up online. They were titled “Days of Our Lives” audition, but no one took them seriously. The “Teen Mom” looked nervous and the script she read from sounded like it was from “One Life to Live” rather than “Days of Our Lives.”
However, a source came forward and “confirmed” that Farrah Abraham ha landed a role on the legendary soap opera playing the role of a hooker named Destiny. The source claimed the “Teen Mom” wanted a larger role on the soap opera, but since her acting was not up to par, she landed the bit part.
Of course, not everyone on set was on board with the decision and, even worse, fans of “Days of Our Lives” were not happy about the announcement. Most fans have noticed a shift to a younger audience in recent years, but few felt it necessary to sign on a woman who has made an adult film.
This is not the first time that Farrah Abraham has been confirmed for a role that she never really landed. In 2011, Farrah auditioned for a role in the new “Charlie’s Angels” television show and claimed she had landed the role. Later, it was confirmed that she had indeed auditioned for a part, but had not been selected to be a part of the cast.
For what it is worth, Farrah Abraham never spoke out about the potential “Days of Our Lives” casting. She has also been rumored to be a part of the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” and said that fans would find out about that soon.
