Love fall? It's the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors before the weather gets too chilly.

The Farmington Harvest Moon Celebration, traditionally a one-night dance, is this weekend, Sept. 23-25, and it's bigger than ever. It includes three nights of adult entertainment, plus a Harvest Day on Saturday that's for the whole family.

Thursday night is the first annual beer and wine tasting, with food pairings creating by Oakland Comminity College's Culinary Institute. The event starts at 5:30 and includes live entertainment.

Friday night is the dance, with live entertainment, and beer, wine and food available for purchase.

Saturday is Harvest Day, which includes the Farmers Market, a corn roast, a pig roast and a live telecast of the two big football games going on this weekend.

Saturday night, it's more adult entertaintment, with beer and wine available for purchase.

Come on down to the pavilion this weekend for a good time. Each evening requires a $5 ticket, available for purchase at the Downtown Development Authority and many area businesses. The tickets are $8 at the event.
