As the episode begins, David is blowing up the balloons for the party, and takes in a breath of helium and talks to Nancy, she does the same and both sound like cartoon characters as they giggle. She leaves David to fill the entire ceiling of the tent with balloons and heads to the kitchen to start the cake for Bailey’s seventh birthday. As she prepares her foods, Nancy gives great hints to her viewers. After she added the flour to the cake batter, she warned not to put the mixer on high, or experience a flower shower!
Next, Nancy started making the Chicken Parmesan Sticks. She started with the three dish method to put a crispy crust on these. First in flour, then in the egg mixture, next in panko bread crumbs mixed with parmesan and parsley. When they were ready for the oven, Nancy dabbed them with a bit of melted butter for a golden glow. When she looked out the window, a llama was walking down her driveway.
As things were coming to fruition, Nancy headed to the kitchen again to make the broccoli and cheese sauce. She cannot wait to see how many kids eat broccoli the way she fixed it.
After enjoying the delightful meal and all the fun of the live music and dancing, it was time for the delicious birthday cake. Everyone at the party had a great time. Don’t you wish you were seven again and had Nancy for a grandmother? Bet she would love you as she loves her beautiful family, just like on this adorable episode of “Farmhouse Rules.”
