Thetford, Norfolk - A pig farmer who was being investigated for cruelty was discovered dead in his home on Tuesday.
Stephen Brown, 52, ran Harling Farm.
Late last week, the RSPCA launched an investigation after viewing disturbing video which was obtained by Animal Equality over the course of two months via an undercover operation.
The footage is described as "appalling".
The images capture workers beating, kicking and slapping the pigs. Click here to watch a video clip.
According to the BBC, Animal Equality sought to reveal the "true face of animal farming in Britain".
According to the Guardian, Brown's death does not appear to be suspicious.
