Farm and Flower Festival provides family fun at Dallas Farmers Market

Those who attend the Farm and Flower Festival can get planting and growing
information for home gardens from the Dallas Master Gardeners.

The Farm and Flower Festival kicks off Saturday morning at the Dallas Farmers Market.

The event features cooking demonstrations with chef Chad Houser of Parigi Restaurant at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m on the Pearl Plaza.

The free festival includes craft activities, such as making pine cone bird feeders, for children and live entertainment from the Herbie Johnson Jazz Quartet.

The Dallas Office of Environmental Quality will share recycling details and information on the Trinity River Corridor Project.

Free parking is available near the farmers market, but be sure to arrive early for a space. The Farm and Flower Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 22.
