Farhh, the impressive runner-up to Nathaniel in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown, will be supplemented for the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on August 1. The Godolphin-trained four-year-old has long been considered by tipsters to be a solid Group 1 racehorse, and Farhh will get the chance to end the unbeaten run of Frankel.
The son of Pivotal came in third in the Prince of Wales's Stakes and and has a Timeform performance rating of 128. Farhh may be unbeaten over a mile but Frankel is considered by many horse tipsters be to the best sprinter in the world. Sir Henry Cecil’s Frankel is currently rated 147 by Timeform and could become the first horse to win the Sussex Stakes twice.
In other news, Giofra will skip the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood days after winning the Falmouth Stakes. The Alain de Royer Dupre- filly could instead showcase her horse racing skills at the one-mile Prix Jacques Le Marois meeting in August.
At Falmouth, the five-year-old French challenger (10-1 betting odds), mounted by jockey Christophe Soumillon, held off Elusive Kate and Siyouma in the final stages of the Group 1 event. For Glorious Goodwood, horse tipsters now regard Izzi Top as the betting favourite in the Nassau Stakes.
