Fargo-Moorhead celebrates a decade long tradition today through March 6, 2010. The 10th annual Fargo Film Festival is “five days of great film, exciting guests, intriguing panel discussions, workshops and parties,” according to the Fargo Theatre’s official webpage.
According to the FFF website, the festival’s mission is to “provide an extraordinary opportunity for filmmakers’ work to be shown on the big silver screen…provide informational and provocative presentations and panel discussions on issues affecting local, regional, national and international filmmaking and filmmakers… [and] jury films in [a number of] categories.”
The festival began today, March 2, with a press conference at noon at the Fargo Theatre, 314 Broadway. During the press conference festival organizers announced award winners and films chosen as featured selections.
