Farfalla has been an established ristorante in Los Feliz for long enough not to require too many reviews. It’s simple, delectable Italian fair, reasonably priced in a cozy, mood-lit atmosphere. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is typically Italian (for America): rich, buttery, garlicky, and plentiful. The prices are reasonable for Los Feliz, though it isn’t cheap. Recommended are the Pappa e Pomodoro, a succulent tomato soup infused with garlic and bread, the excellent bruschetta, and the pumpkin ravioli. There is often a wait, so come early, sample the wine, and enjoy the atmosphere.
