Easily one of the best game ever created, and one of the best games of 2012, is "Far Cry 3". The game took everything that "Far Cry 2" did right (which wasn't much) and took out everything it did wrong (which was almost everything) and ended up crafting a game that is one of the best all around video game packages a gamer could want.
"Far Cry 3" took four years to get here though, and that wait was a tough one. Fans of the series had to sit back with anticipation while gamers who were jaded over "Far Cry 2" watched closely to see if they would change the franchise up for the better.
Thankfully Ubisoft did just that, and now everyone loves them some "Far Cry 3." What's next for the series? Well, it's not official, but according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, "fans will certainly not have to wait for more years for the next 'Far Cry' game."
Guillemot went onto say "Far Cry 3" is performing "way better then expected" and has already shipped around 4.5 million units. Ubisoft took a chance on waiting four years between this and the last game in the series, and it's paid off in spades. Thankfully gamers won't have long to wait for the next game in the series.
"Far Cry 3" is currently available for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
