New details have been revealed in regards to the PS4 and PS3 versions of the upcoming multiplatform video game, "Far Cry 4." According to a report from the official European Playstation Blog on June 10, the sequel comes with a “Keys to Kyrat” DLC for both platforms. The new packs will let players invite friends to join a session in the drop-in and drop-out “Guns for Hire” co-op mode.

Two individuals can team up together to acquire cash and experience while exploring the new open-world setting of the sequel. On the PS3 and PS4, players can still play even if they don't own a copy of "Far Cry 4." Instead, they simply need to be invited using one of the aforesaid “Keys to Kyrat” DLC passes.

The latest "Far Cry" game is one of the many multiplatform games that feature exclusive contents on the PS3 and PS4. Another Ubisoft game, "Watch Dogs," came with Playstation-only missions and other items when it was released last month in North America. The upcoming "Destiny" also includes exclusive contents as well.

The first gameplay footage for "Far Cry 4" was shown off during Sony Computer Entertainment's press conference at E3 2014. The footage displays a few of the locations from the new open-world setting of Kyrat, a fictional region based on the Himalayan mountains. Along with the single-player sequence, the co-op mode was also showcased.

Similar to the other games from Ubisoft, "Far Cry 4" in being developed by multiple teams from within the company with the Montreal studio leading the way. The story focuses on Ajay Ghale, who decided to return to Kyrat in order to scatter his mother's ashes. On the way back, however, he ran into Pagan Min, who appears to be the main antagonist of the campaign.
