A job description has revealed that Ubisoft is currently working on a new “Far Cry” video game, which will most likely be called “Far Cry 4.” According to a report by Game Focus on Feb. 22, the company is seeking a 3D graphics programmer for the current PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 systems. The recently-revealed PS4 and heavily-rumored Xbox 720 consoles weren’t mentioned in the listing for “Far Cry 4.” You can check out some screens from “Far Cry 3” in the slideshow at the top of this article.
Ubisoft previously revealed that “Far Cry 4” would take a lot shorter time to develop than “Far Cry 3” because they found the right gameplay balance to the open-world first-person shooting formula.
The third main game in the “Far Cry” franchise came out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms in North America on Dec. 6. The open-world first-person shooter was developed by Ubisoft Montreal with additional support form other internal Ubisoft studios. You can purchase the title in the following link: “Far Cry 3”
The PS4 and Xbox 720 are slated to launch this holiday season. Sony unveiled the PS4 on Feb. 20 while Microsoft is rumored to be holding an event for the Xbox 720 in April.
