Yves Guillemot has provided a comparison regarding the game development processes for the PS3 and the upcoming PS4. According to a report by MCV on Feb. 21, the CEO of Ubisoft (the publisher behind the recently-released “Far Cry 3”) disclosed that the next-generation system is easier to develop for than the current Sony console. As a result, they can reach their potential faster than in the past. You can check out some images of the PS4 accessories and menus in the slideshow at the top of this article in addition to the comments from Yves Guillemot below (courtesy of MCV):

These machines are easier to build on than before, so we should be able to reach their potential quicker.

Far Cry 3” was developed by Ubisoft Montreal in addition to several other studios. The open-world first-person shooter was released for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms in the North American region on Dec. 4, 2012. You can purchase the game in the following link: “Far Cry 3”

The PS4 was officially announced on Feb. 20 during the Playstation Meeting press conference that was held in New York. Sony’s next-generation system will be launching this holiday season.
