There are teams in the NFL with two or three great wide receivers, and then there is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have only Cecil Shorts most of the season so far, but ESPN reported on Oct. 2 that Justin Blackmon finally returns from his suspension this week and hopes to help his team turn their woes around.

Here are the fantasy football start em or sit em options for week five wide receivers.

Start ‘Em

Eric Decker – The Denver Broncos have two wide receivers that should be started every week, regardless of opponent, but this week, you might look at starting their third receiver Eric Decker as well. He is averaging double digit fantasy points as well, and the Cowboys have given up the third most fantasy points to receivers this season.

Josh Gordon – Gordon came back from his suspension and has been a large part of the reason that the Cleveland Browns are turning things around. He has a good relationship with Brian Hoyer and plays a Buffalo Bills team that is horrible at stopping the pass.

Jordy Nelson – The Green Bay vs. Detroit game should be a shoot-out and Jordy Nelson should have a huge performance, maybe even rivaling Calvin Johnson who will line up on the other side of the field. In his last home game with Detroit, Nelson had 162 yards and three touchdowns.

Sit ‘Em

Mike Wallace – The high priced Miami free agent pick up has been a bust so far this season. Baltimore has only allowed an average of 15 fantasy points to receivers in their last three games and Wallace won’t find much running room against this defense.

Dwayne Bowe – Bowe has been horrible this season, and he only had a good week last week because of a rare touchdown reception. The Titans defense is actually pretty goof and a reason they are playing so well this season. Don’t expect much better than No. 3 receiver numbers.

Anquan Boldin – He has been a great pick up for the 49ers, but Boldin is playing against the Houston Texans this week, and they still have one of the best defenses in the league. They have held teams to less receiver yards this season than any other team in the NFL, so this should be a week the 49ers need to rely on running the ball.
