Fantasy football players that have been ruled out in Week 8 include several star players. It begins with a Week 8 update on Sunday (Oct. 27) about C.J. Spiller from ESPN. He will miss the Buffalo Bills vs. New Orleans Saints game, hampering owners that had stuck with him.
Several other players that are listed as inactive are wide receiver Miles Austin and running backs DeMarco Murray and Brandon Jacobs. That will make things tough for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, but he has made due with players like Dez Bryant all season. Look for Bryant to put up huge numbers against the Detroit Lions, so any owner holding on to him should have a nice Sunday.
Another active player that will turn heads is tight end Jimmy Graham of the New Orleans Saints. It was just revealed on NFL Network that he is going to play against the Bills, despite having a problem with his foot. It's unclear just how much time he will get in the game, but he could end up with several red zone opportunities. The risk with the Saints playing him is that the partial tear in his foot could get even worse if he moves wrong.
