The Fantasty Faire area of Fantasyland will officially open on March 12, 2013. This area is next to Sleeping Beauty's castle. This area will expand Fantasyland and its style architecture some more. The main features of this area will be the Royal Theatre and the Royal Hall.
The Royal Theatre will be located where the former Carnation Plaza Gardens stage was. Here there will be two different storytelling performances. One will feature Beauty and the Beast characters while the other will feature Tangled characters. While the Fantasy Faire area does mostly focus on the princesses, the storytelling performances will also feature other characters from the movies such as Flynn Rider from Tangled.
The Royal Hall will be a character meeting area. Here guests will be able to meet with up to three princesses. The princesses will vary, but will include classic princesses such as Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella.
Fantasy Faire will also have a shop called Fairytale Treasures and a gypsy wagon style food cart inspired by Beauty and the Beast called Maurice's Treats.
