Fantasy casting: 'Constantine'

With word coming yesterday that NBC has ordered the pilot for a "Constantine" TV show, there are so many questions to ask. What does this mean for the 'Dark Universe' film (see video) in development with director Guillermo del Toro? Can there be two separate live-action continuities for the John Constantine character? But, most importantly, who will play the abrasive Brit magician originally created by Alan Moore in "Saga of the Swamp Thing"? The slideshow offers some suggestions but you can sound off in the comments below.

For an older, wiser, and, therefore, completely unlikely choice, you have Steven Mackintosh. He has the build and blonde hair already as well as the TV credits for playing a morally corrupt man in British series "Luther" and "Inside Men".

What we know for sure is that the show was pitched by "Dark Knight Trilogy" writer David S. Goyer and former Dexter producer Daniel Cerone, with Cerone likely to be the showrunner while Goyer stays busy with building the DC cinematic universe.
