On Tuesday, Fantasia Barrino became a mother for the second time in her life, giving birth to a baby boy in North Carolina. And unlike some celebrities, Fantasia had no problem immediately releasing the name of her new child: Dallas Xavier Barrino.

Fantasia, for whatever reason, is always a lightning rod for controversy in the press and a topic of debate amongst fans. Since 2010, she’s received hate mail, had an ugly (and very public) affair with Antwaun Cook, admitted that she attempted suicide, and has most recently had a falling out with the makers of the Mahalia Jackson biopic—a film she was set to star in.
So a healthy baby boy is something Fantasia can truly savor after a tough couple of years.
If you’re waiting for Fantasia to truly open up about her relationship with Antwaun Cook, you just might be in luck. When Barrino was pregnant, she was asked about her time spent with Antwaun on the “Wendy Williams” show. Fantasia was tight-lipped about the subject back in October, but teased fans by telling Williams “when I have the baby, I’ll come talk to you about that.”
