On Friday, Jan. 11, TMZ.com ran an exclusive report, claiming that American rapper Nicki Minaj was no longer dating her longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels. For some, the news is likely a big relief, as Minaj had a rollercoaster type of relationship with Safaree over the years.
Making things even more interesting, Minaj was spotted out and about with a mystery man last night as they left an unnamed restaurant.
At first, the site of Minaj with the man caused great speculation, with various sites running with headlines claiming that Nicki had picked up a new boyfriend.
Upon hearing the news, two users took to TMZ.com to attempt to clarify the rumors.
“Actually that is her artist who is signed to her soon to be released label,” user RMINAJ96 claimed. “His name is Brinx. Check ya facts.”
“That isn’t Nicki’s boyfriend,” user ANYTHING4MINJA declared. “It’s her artist on her new self-started label. Get it together, TMZ.”
A closer look at Brinx’s personal Twitter account shows that he has an estimated 14,975 followers, and his tagline reads “I aint no F*ckn rapper! Im who most rappers claim 2 B”.
Perhaps the picture will be a little clearer in the coming days.
