I've never been a huge coffee drinker, save for some of Starbucks' holiday lattes. No, I'm much more of a tea drinker. I only drank tea on occasion until this year when I found the wonder that is Teavana.
I wanted to thank Teavana properly and, as done in the modern era, this meant me going on their Facebook page and liking them. This led to one of my friends letting me know about Adagio teas. I'd like them, she said, and they're a bit cheaper. As they are an online company, I was skeptical- how would I know which tea I would like without trying it first, or at least smelling it? After all, my love for Teavana was kindled when my boyfriend asked to pass them on the way out of the mall so he could nab a free sample. I went in, laughing at the idea that anyone would spend this much on tea, and left with a brewing tumbler, maharaja chai oolong, and samurai chai mate.
Still, I decided to check out Adagio's webpage. A few clicks later, I gasped in delight.
They have fandom teas.
Each one has beautiful artwork (either on the pouch or on the tin, depending on what size you order) and a description to match its name. A list of ingredients helps you determine if you would enjoy it.
I haven't tried these yet, but I will. And these would make such unique gifts for the geeks in your life- can you say early Christmas shopping? Allons-y!
