Fan hits half court shot to win $75,000, gets tackled by LeBron James (Watch) (Photos)

It was at Friday's night's game between the Miami Heat and the Detroit Pistons when a fan had the chance to sink a basketball from half-court to win $75,000 between periods.

In front of at least 20,000 fans, Michael Drysch, 50, a computer technician, somehow miraculously threw the ball 47 feet and sunk it to win the prize that was sponsored by Miami Heat's LeBron James' foundation.

While the $75,000 is a great payday for the fan, getting hugged and tackled by James to the floor with both tumbling to the court on video will be a moment Drysch will never forget.

"I had no idea what was going on," James said at court-side after the winning shot. "That fan, while he'll love the $75,000, having that on video. LeBron James tackling you at half court in front of 20,000, I think will be the longer-lasting memory."

While NBC players try to hit half court shots during practice all the time, sinking a 47 footer doesn't happen too often even for the professionals.
