The countdown clock is moving fast! For motocross enthusiasts the world over, the 64th Red Bull FIM Motocross des Nations is but 4 days away and set to take place right here in Lakewood, Colorado. Teams from more than 30 countries will be on hand to battle it out for the coveted championship title, also known as the Chamberlain Trophy. This isn’t just a big deal…this is the deal in the entirety of the sport. As a matter fact, this is only the third time this event has ever been hosted in the United States. Without further adieu, here’s your fan guide to what this weekend has to offer.

NO bicycles, pit bikes, golf carts, scooters, taking banners from the track will be prosecuted, hanging on fences, glass bottles, campfires, fireworks, furniture, scaffolding, beach, EZ-ups, pets in spectator areas.

Keep your radio tuned to FM 93.1 for up to date announcements, racing news, interviews and other information throughout the weekend.

The camping pass will allow you to camp from Thursday at 12:00 pm (noon) until Monday morning. All campers need to be out of the camping lot by Monday at 10:00 am. We suggest you reserve your spot prior to arrival to the track to insure you get a spot. Cost $150.


Thunder Valley is conveniently located near numerous hotels within minutes from the track in Golden and only 15 minutes from downtown Denver. For more information: City of Denver or Jefferson County


Visitors should be advised that Rooney Road will be closed for the weekend of MXoN. The only way to enter the parking lots is from the South on Alameda Parkway.

From the South: Head north on I-25 to C-470 (west), take the Alameda Pkwy exit and turn left (west), then turn right (north) on Rooney Road. One mile to track (on left).
