Kirsten Storms (Maxie) will report back to the ‘General Hospital’ set this coming week, says ‘Soaps in Depth.’ The actress will most likely begin airing again next month.

Fans are curious – what’s Maxie been up to? And will the Maxie and Lulu friendship finally be repaired?

In other news, ‘GH’ head writer Ron Carlivati spoke with ‘Soap Opera Digest’ on the exit of Kim McCullough (Robin).

On the choice to make Robin leave town the way she did, Carlivati said,

‘We talked through every possible story of why she would leave the canvas, why Patrick will stay, versions where Patrick would not stay. There was an issue with everyone. All of them had their negatives. Everyone was, ‘Why would she leave her daughter? Why would she leave her husband? If she doesn’t go willingly, why would he give up looking for her? Or what if she died?’ Ultimately, I had to make the final decision along with Frank Valentini (executive producer, GH) and the network and ultimately, this was the one that all three parties – the network, Frank and I – agreed would be, if not the best, then maybe the most palatable.’

Finally, Donna Mills shared on Twitter that her first ‘GH’ air date is March 14 (via Michael Fairman).

‘General Hospital’ airs weekdays at 2pm on Detroit’s local ABC affiliate WXYZ Channel 7.
