A fan has purchased the late Whitney Houston's mansion, which was the place she called home since becoming famous. If the walls could talk in this New Jersey mansion they would have a lot to say. She married Bobby Brown on this property, her famous daughter also lived here, Bobbie Kristina Brown.

According to MSN Today on June 3, the property was purchased by a 33-year-old emergency room physician who is also one of Whitney's biggest fans. The house was on and off the market since 2009, but back in February an investment firm purchased the place for just under a million dollars.

They put it back on the market and Dr. Matthew Krauthamer snapped it up this time. He got the 13,607-square-foot home that sits on five acres for $1.5 million, according to Reality Today.

The five-bedroom home has curved walls of windows, a huge swimming pool, tennis court and two Jacuzzis along with many top of the line amenities. Whitney's house has sentimental value for this new owner. This mansion was Whitney's creation when she had it built to her specifications back in 1987.

This home saw her through her days when she was riding high with fame and riding low struggling with her substance abuse. Krauthhamer sees Whitney as a woman who took care of the people closest to her and his idea of the iconic star is that she was a very kind and generous woman.

You could say that this ER doctor got a good deal on this home because at one point is was listed for $1.75 million. Krauthamer lives right around the corner from his new house and he just listed his place for $1.349 million.

Whitney's estate sits at 22 N. Gate Road in Menham and Krauthamer's address is 88 W. Main St. The house he lives in right now looks like a castle and it also has a bit of history. It was built in 1918 for the mayor of Menham during that time, William Cordingley.
