Fan backlash prompts "exclusive" Rayman: Legends demo from Ubisoft

In what is another blow to the Wii U content train, Rayman: Legends, one of the most anticipated exclusive titles for Nintendo's latest home console was announced for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 yesterday.

No specific date has been announced as of yet, but a tweet from Ubisoft's Montreal account states that we will see the latest Rayman title on other platforms this September. With the Wii U version now being delayed even further, backlash from fans of the series was at an all time high yesterday.

In response to this, Ubisoft had this to say on their Facebook page:

"Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms. We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game.

We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more."

I'll bite my tongue as to what Ubisoft can do with their passive aggressive, disconnected "exclusive" demo, as it only fuels more bitterness toward the company. Either way, let me know how you feel about this by subscribing to me here or following me on twitter @NicholasGigante.
