Famous beagle celebrates 60th birthday with PPG mascot ice skating party

The Rink at PPG Place will celebrate Snoopy’s 60th birthday with an afternoon of ice skating this Saturday, November 20 from 12:00-2:00 PM.

Hosted by Q92.9 FM, this beagle birthday celebration is part of Pittsburgh’s 50th anniversary Light Up Night weekend festivities. Come skate with Snoopy, Betty Boop, Popeye, Mr. Froggy of 103.5 FM, Iceburgh, and Steely McBeam and enjoy the start of the winter skating season with the November 19 opening of The Rink at PPG Place. The Rink is also celebrating a birthday: its 10th as the city’s only downtown outdoor ice skating rink!

Admission is $7.00 for adults and $6.00 for children and senior citizens. Skate rental is available for $3.00.
